Marine rubber fenders have various types. Their production processes are similar. Super M type rubber fender is typically mounted to a dock or a ship to counteract the collision force between the dock and the ship-generated during mooring and berthing, thus preventing ships and docks from being damaged. So today I introduce the M fender production process. Please follow me to visit its production as following.

M fender production process

Firstly, according to ordered or required M type rubber fenders by clients, our engineer will make a strict and necessary formula of materials, including natural rubber, black carbon, fillings and others. Then mix all the materials together by the rubber mixer machine.

Secondly, deal with and adjust suitable mould of M type fender as the client’s specification. Then put the mixed rubber into this mould. Fill the full space of this mould with the mixed rubber material. After the close, the mould put the whole mould into the vulcanizing tanker.

Under 24hours and 300degrees heat, the mould and the mixed material will become liquid to fully fill the mould. Meanwhile, inside air is discharged. So that the mixed material can be solid together to ensure good performance of M type rubber fender.

The last step is cooling of the mould. Then make the rubber fender body leave this mould. M type fender body is ready to be packed after clear more rubber material on fender body.
