For the installation of the tugboat cylindrical rubber fender at the bow of the ship, a Φ25 galvanized chain is generally used to pass through the middle, and the two sides are fixed with turnbuckle screws. 28 high-strength polyester fabric belts are selected from the bottom of the bulwark to pass through the wrapped fender and then return to the bulwark to be fastened by the U-shaped pull code. All pullers are set on the bulwark structure, which is not only convenient for operation but also the overall appearance will be relatively flat.

  • Because the cylindrical rubber fender cannot be manufactured as a whole, it is divided into three sections and produced separately. The fracture position should be in the area with the smallest radian, and the corresponding compensation amount can be reserved for the incision. In order to ensure the quality of the interface production, special treatment is required for the installation process of the interface location.
  • Select Auto CAD software to make models to ensure the accuracy of bulwark openings. Stainless steel round steel should be set around the openings to ensure smoothness. The opening area of the bulwark and the grooves of the round rubber tape should be in one-to-one correspondence, so as to effectively improve the installation quality and ensure the overall beautiful appearance.
  • The opening area of the bulwark structure is equipped with a binding and pulling structure, and the next process is carried out after welding and grinding at the same time.
  • For high-strength polyester tape, its size should be reasonably controlled. If it is too long, it cannot be tightened, and if it is too short, it will not meet the actual needs. Generally, a polyester tape of 2 m can properly reserve a stretch of about 25 mm. The polyester cloth belt needs to be covered with a rubber tube to prevent seawater and sun erosion and promote its service life.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the rubber fender structure size and control the error size within ±5 mm
  • Wait for the paint to be completely dried before hoisting. The compression or stretching of the rubber fenders during hoisting may affect the installation quality, so it is necessary to make an independent simple tripod to assist, according to the order from the middle of the boat to both sides. After tightening the polyester cloth belt, the operator uses an electric wrench to tighten the nut on the U-shaped code, and then tighten the turnbuckle screws at both ends of the chain.
  • In the past, the end position of the rubber fender was generally made of iron plate as a conical bell mouth, but the cost of doing so was high, so it was replaced with a rubber conical head, so that the end of the fender can smoothly transition, and on the basis of reducing the cost It can also make the appearance more beautiful.
