Recently, the expansion project of the new container terminal at the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port in Cambodia has started. The project will be completed in three phases, with the first phase planning to build a container terminal 350 meters long and 14.5 meters deep.

When all three phases are completed, the port’s annual throughput will increase to 2.58 million TEUs. At the same time, Cambodia will be able to export goods directly to the European and American markets without transiting through places such as Singapore.
