Port of Vancouver to be expanded
Recently, the Port of Vancouver, Canada plans to build a new three-berth container terminal. The project is expected to provide an additional 2.4 million TEUs of container capacity and will increase container capacity on Canada’s west coast by about one-third.
In addition, more than 18,000 jobs will be added during construction, with an estimated annual gross domestic product of $2.2 billion upon completion.
