Ship-to-Ship (STS) Transfer Operations
Pneumatic fenders are essential in offshore STS transfers, especially for oil tankers, LNG carriers, and other liquid cargo vessels. They provide a safe and reliable buffer between two vessels during cargo transfer, even in rough sea conditions. Their flexibility allows for significant hull deformation without damage.
Ship-to-Quay (STQ) Mooring
In port or terminal berthing, pneumatic rubber fenders are used between the ship and quay wall to absorb impact during berthing or mooring. They are especially useful in temporary, non-standard, or aged terminals where structural protection is limited.
Offshore Platforms and Floating Terminals
