Application of the Kenter Shackle in Anchor Chain
Kenter shackle, also known as the kenter link, is a crucial component used to connect the two ends of anchor chains. 1. Kenter Shackle Features
A kenter shackle consists of two separate halves connected by a center wedge and a tapered pin.

2. Application in Anchor Chain
The anchor chain is usually 27.5 meters long per section and is connected using a kenter shackle. In an emergency, the kenter shackle is very simple to remove and reuse, thus reducing downtime and improving operational efficiency.
3. Installation Process
- Step 1: Align the chain links to be connected.
