Nanjing Deers Supply Over 100sets Rubber Fender Systems for Huanghua Port, China
Date:2025-08-14
Located in Hebei Province on the western shore of Bohai Bay, Huanghua Port has emerged as one of northern China’s most important energy and bulk cargo hubs.
In recent years, the port has continued to expand its infrastructure to meet growing trade demands. The latest development includes the construction of a 50,000 DWT liquefied hydrocarbon berth and a 20,000 DWT liquid chemical berth, occupying a total quay length of 503 meters. These new berths will further enhance the port’s capacity for handling high-value liquid cargo and strengthen its role in China’s coastal logistics network.
The contractor has commissioned Nanjing Deers to equip the newly built berths with a complete rubber fender system. Our integrated teams – covering sales, engineering, production, and logistics – worked closely together to deliver a tailored solution that meets the operational requirements. The scope of supply includes 1250H Cell Fenders with fronatl panels, 300H×1500L Arch Fenders, and 200×200×1500L D Fenders, ensuring optimal protection for a wide range of vessel sizes and hull designs.
Each fender type was carefully selected and dimensioned to match the berths’ mooring patterns, tidal conditions, and vessel approach speeds. One of the challenges for this project was the production and delivery of a large quantity of fenders within a strict schedule, while adhering to the highest standards of safety and durability. Thanks to our streamlined production process and strong coordination between departments, the shipment was completed on time without compromising quality.
At Nanjing Deers, we take pride in our ability to execute complex marine engineering projects that meet diverse operational needs. The successful delivery to Huanghua Port once again demonstrates our expertise in providing reliable berthing protection solutions for ports handling specialized cargo.
