Delivery Rubber Fender Solutions for Nantong Lüsi Port, Tongzhou Terminal Area
Located along the Yangtze River estuary, Nantong Lüsi Port plays an important role in regional trade and logistics. The port has recently developed two new general cargo berths – one for 20,000 DWT vessels and another for 5,000 DWT vessels in the Tongzhou Terminal Area. Once operational, these new facilities will significantly enhance the port’s handling capacity and strengthen its role as a logistics hub in the region.
For this project, Nanjing Deers supplied a comprehensive package of rubber fender systems, including over 120 sets Arch Fenders in sizes 300H and 600H, as well over 80 sets D Fenders in sizes D200×200×1000L and D200×200×1500L. These fenders were carefully selected and designed to meet the berthing requirements of different vessel types calling at the new berths.
Despite the tight delivery schedule, our production and logistics teams coordinated closely to ensure that all fenders were delivered on time and in line with the project’s demanding construction progress. With these installations, the port will be well-prepared to safely accommodate a wide variety of general cargo vessels.
Nanjing Deers is proud to contribute to this important port infrastructure project. Once in operation, the new berths will provide an annual cargo throughput capacity of 800000 tonnes, playing a vital role in enhancing the port’s logistics chain and driving regional economic growth.
