Hanzhuang Port equipped with our 68 sets 400H of V type fenders
Located at the intersection of the Beijing–Hangzhou Grand Canal and Weishan Lake, Hanzhuang Port serves as a key inland transportation hub connecting Jining in the north and Jiangsu Province in the south. The main works of the port’s expansion project include the construction of four 2,000 DWT berths. Once completed, the terminal is expected to achieve an annual throughput of 60,000 TEUs and handle 1.1 million tons of general cargo, allowing simultaneous berthing and loading of four 2,000 DWT vessels.
Working closely with the project team, Nanjing Deers supplied a total of 68 sets of 400H V type fenders and 70 sets of 300H D Fenders to ensure safe and efficient berthing operations at the new terminal.
Fender Systems Designed for Reliable Berthing Protection
The Arch Fenders were selected for their excellent energy absorption capacity and low reaction force, providing reliable protection for quay structures and vessels during berthing. Meanwhile, the D Fenders, installed along the quay edges and berthing faces, serve as continuous contact protection elements that effectively minimize impact damage between vessels and the dock structure.
The combination of Arch and D Fenders ensures that Hanzhuang Port can safely accommodate various types of cargo vessels while maintaining structural safety and minimizing maintenance requirements.
