Successfully Supply and Install Cell Fender System for Port Upgrade
Nanjing Deers has successfully completed the supply and installation of a batch of cell fenders and frontal panels for a port upgrade project. The fender system adopts a two-cell-one-panel configuration, providing reliable berthing protection and efficient energy absorption for vessels.
This batch of fenders was supplied to replace the aging fender system previously installed at the port. After years of operation, the original fenders had deteriorated and could no longer fully meet the safety requirements of modern port operations. The newly supplied cell fender system offers improved durability, higher energy absorption capacity, and enhanced structural reliability.
In order to avoid disruption to the port’s daily operations, the installation team worked with great efficiency on-site. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of the workers, the fender system was installed overnight, ensuring that the port could continue operating without interruption.
The successful completion of the installation means the new fender system has now been officially put into service, providing long-term protection for the berth structure and improving operational safety for vessels calling at the port.
