4.5×9m Pneumatic Fenders Delivered to USA
Nanjing Deers has recently completed another pneumatic fender order for a client in the United States. The shipment includes five large pneumatic fenders, each measuring 4.5 m in diameter and 9 m in length, with an initial internal pressure of 50 kPa.
Due to the large size of the fenders, quality verification before shipment was an important part of this order. At the client’s request, Bureau Veritas (BV) carried out third-party inspection prior to delivery. The fenders successfully passed the required inspection, confirming that the products met the agreed technical and quality requirements.
Pneumatic fenders of this size are generally selected for demanding marine applications involving large vessels. Their large contact area and energy absorption capability make them suitable for use in ports, terminals, offshore operations, and ship-to-ship applications where reliable protection is required during berthing or mooring.
After inspection, special attention was also given to transportation. Considering the dimensions and weight of the products, the five pneumatic fenders were secured with steel frame packaging. This packing method provides stronger support during lifting, loading, and long-distance transportation, helping reduce the risk of movement or accidental damage in transit.
The complete shipment has now been dispatched and is approaching final delivery to the US client. With production, BV inspection, packaging, and transportation all progressing smoothly, the order is expected to reach the client shortly.
