Customized V Type Fenders Successfully installed for Berth Replacement Project in Nantong
Nanjing Deers has recently supplied more than 10 sets of v type fenders for a berth fender replacement project at a port in Nantong, China. The new fenders have now been successfully installed at the berth and are ready for service.
This project involved replacing the existing arch fenders that had already been in use at the quay. To ensure that the replacement units would match the original installation positions, the new fenders were custom-manufactured according to the dimensions of the existing fender system.
For berth replacement projects, dimensional compatibility is particularly important. The mounting arrangement, fender height, length, and connection positions all need to match the existing berth structure as closely as possible so that the new fenders can be installed without major modification to the quay.
After production and delivery, the complete batch of v type fenders was installed at the designated positions along the berth. The installation of more than 10 sets has now been completed successfully, allowing the berth protection system to return to normal operation.
