Replacement and Installation 800H Cell Fender Systems Completed
Nanjing Deers has recently completed a marine fender replacement project at a port in Nantong, China, supplying and installing new set of 800H Cell Fender Systems to replace the damaged existing fender system.
The berth adopts a Double Fenders per Frontal Panel configuration, with two 800H Cell Fenders supporting one frontal panel. Based on the existing fender arrangement and the actual requirements of the berth, Nanjing Deers supplied both the 800H Cell Fender bodies and matching frontal panels to ensure compatibility with the replacement project.
In addition to supplying the new fender system, our team also provided on-site installation services. Before the installation of the replacement fenders, personnel were arranged to recover the detached fender components from the water and bring them ashore, clearing the installation area and preparing the berth for the subsequent work.
Following the recovery work, the new Cell Fender systems were installed at the designated positions on the quay. The fender bodies and frontal panels were assembled and secured according to the existing berth configuration, completing the replacement of the damaged units.
The installation work has now been successfully completed, and the newly installed 800H Cell Fenders are ready to provide reliable protection for vessels and the berth structure during future berthing operations.
