Yokohama Pneumatic Fender is Shipping to Europe with BV Testing Report
Yokohama Pneumatic fender in two different sizes with both 50Kpa inner pressure ordered by European clients are shipping. Surprisingly, fenders’ length reaches 9 meters and such huge fenders will be used for STS projects soon. To ensure the safety of these fenders, all yokohama pneumatic fenders are elaborately packed before shipment. Required by our clients, the BV test was carried out a few days ago before these fenders shipped to Europe.
As we all know, yokohama pneumatic fenders are common floating fender that is used to protect ships and avoid collisions during ship operations. They are also commonly used in the seaport of the wharf to protect ships during berthing operations. Apart from some basic testing items like visual, dimension, leakage, and fender performance testings, others include material physical properties testings, like tensile strength testing and hardness of inner rubber and outer rubber testings were done in our own laboratory.
