2250H Super Cell Rubber Fender System Supplied for LNG Terminal in Guangzhou
Nanjing Deers has recently supplied a batch of 2250H Super Cell Rubber Fender systems for an LNG terminal in Guangzhou, China. The fenders are currently being installed as part of a replacement and upgrade project aimed at improving berthing safety and enhancing operational reliability at the terminal.
The delivered system includes SC2250H Rubber Fenders together with frontal panels. This integrated solution is designed to efficiently absorb berthing energy from LNG carriers while distributing reaction forces evenly to the quay structure, ensuring improved protection under high-impact berthing conditions.
LNG terminals require extremely strict safety and performance standards. The SC2250H Super Cell Fender system provides high energy absorption capacity, low hull reaction force, and stable performance under repeated berthing loads. The frontal panel system further helps to spread contact loads, reducing localized stress on both the vessel hull and quay wall structure.
This project is a replacement application, where the original fender units are being upgraded to meet current operational requirements and extend the service life of the terminal infrastructure. Once installed, the Super Cell Fender system will significantly improve berthing safety for LNG carriers and enhance the overall reliability of marine operations at the terminal.
