Supply Cell Fenders and Frontal Panels for Fender Replacement Project in Southeast Asia
Nanjing Deers has successfully completed the supply of cell fenders and frontal panels to a customer in Southeast Asia for a quay fender replacement project. The delivery included 4 sets of cell fender units and 7 sets frontal panels.
During the project assessment, it was found that some of the existing fender systems were still structurally sound, but the frontal panels (facing panels) had been damaged due to long-term operation. For these positions, Nanjing Deers provided replacement panels only, allowing the client to restore functionality while reducing overall replacement costs.
At the same time, several fender units were severely worn and no longer serviceable, requiring complete replacement. For these locations, full cell fender systems were supplied to ensure reliable performance and long-term durability.
All components were manufactured under strict quality control and designed to match the existing installation conditions. The replacement and installation have now been successfully completed, restoring the quay’s berthing protection system and ensuring safe vessel operations.
This project demonstrates Nanjing Deers’ ability to provide flexible and cost-effective fender solutions, whether through partial component replacement or full system supply, tailored to the actual condition of the client’s infrastructure.
