The first batch equipment for the world’s largest automated port under construction has been completed

Recently, the first batch of automation equipment for the under-construction Tuas Port Automation Port in Singapore has been successfully completed. The Singapore PSA Tuas Automation Wharf project is a super port construction project planned by Singapore’s government.

The competed equipment from production, construction to transportation, includes 20 double-trolley automated quayside cranes and 56 automated rail cranes. The double trolley automatic quay crane is currently the world’s largest and fastest in terms of parameters, with a rated lifting capacity 65 tons, under the speeds of 270 meters per minute and 130 meters per minute.

The rated lifting capacity of the quay crane is 65 tons, with a reach of 73 meters and a gauge of 35 meters. The speed of the main and auxiliary trolleys can reach 270 m/min and 130 m/min. Through a number of key technological innovations, the automation of double trolleys has been realized. The quay cranes are being upgraded intelligently and efficiently.

The rail crane also has the function of auxiliary control system (ASC), adopts the most advanced control technology and design scheme, and has high performance and dynamic rigidity of the whole machine. ability to automate operations. In addition, the design team has adopted image recognition technology and network security technology on a large scale for the first time in key systems. The network security system supervises the security of interactive information between various subsystems, further improving the operation efficiency of equipment and fully ensuring the security of system data.

After the completion of the project, it will be the world’s largest fully automated wharf, helping Singapore to further consolidate its status as an international shipping hub and open new opportunities for the maritime transportation industry.
